Vintage Linens

These are lovely, top shelf, vintage linens. They
will come to you clean, pressed, softly folded and stored in a plastic bag, ready
for you to use. W recommend you remove them from the plastic and store them in a clean, dry
place out of direct sunlight.
Vintage linens were typically homemade and sometimes made
from inexpensive, recycled, or found fabrics, and the sewing skills and workmanship of the
makers varies. We'll describe any significant damage we find. If we don't mention any blemishes, it's
because we didn't see anything. As with other vintage linens, you may see an occasional minor
blemish that occurs from normal wear. We hope you'll enjoy these old relics as much as we do.

delicately embroidered ecru table toppers with inset crochet medallions. Dainty flowers are
cross-stitched in mauve and hunter green with a touch of blue. These look great on small round
end tables over a solid colored floor-length tablecloth.

Description: This hand embroidered days-of-the-week tea towel
set is truly a treasure. They were made from genuine flour sacks and show pulled threads
and small holes where the bags were stitched. Tuesday still shows a faint shadow of
the large blue stamp that says: OK Hard Winter Wheat Flour. I don't recognize the embroidery
design, and I thought I'd seen them all. Did this industrious lady draw the
designs herself? These appear to be unused.
Sunday she's singing from her hymnal.
Monday she's hanging out the wash.
Tuesday she's ironing.
Wednesday she's mending.
Thursday she's cleaning.
Friday she's baking.
Saturday she's shopping.
